I spent the last week in Montreal, a glance into the sketch book shows: November is cold in Canada. Being the soft European woman that I am I froze to death; and almost bought one of those patterned all time huge wool pullovers. (I took care of  myself  with high-tech socks which I bought from the outdoor shops) And I bought an umbrella when it rained. Though most Canadians simply pulled a hood over their heads

Die letzte Woche habe ich in Montreal verbracht, ein Blick ins Skizzenbuch zeigt: Der November ist kalt in Kanada.
Verweichlichte Europäerin die ich bin, habe ich arg gefröstelt, und hätte fast einen der allgegenwärtigen dicken gemusterten Wollpullover gekauft. (habe mich ich aber mit Hightec-Socken aus dem Outdoorläden begnügt). Und als es regnete, habe ich mir einen Schirm besorgt. Die meisten Kanadierinnen zogen einfach nur ihre dicken Kapuzen über.
